Do you have a particular graph in mind? Like maybe a trig graph? Do you know what a period is? Please define what you think a period is and we will help you.

There are tons of lessons available online for finding the period from a graph and for a function so, if you haven't found anything helpful, obviously you're looking for something non-standard. So please reply with clarification. A specific homework exercise (complete with instructions), along with your thoughts and efforts, would probably be instructive.
