Question: Tom and Jerry decide to find the perimeter of their garden. Tom measures the length as 5.2 metres while jerry measures the width as 370cm. What is the perimeter

My answer: Formula A= LXW (5.2m x2) + (0.37m x 2)
=10.4 t 0.74
= 11.14m

Can someone tell me if this is right. I am a second time around adult student doing correspondence and I have no idea whether I am on the right track ....?????

Yes and No

P = 2 * [L + W] = 2 * [ 5.2 + .37] = 2 * 5.57 = 11.14 m

Thanks for the help my brain hasn't had to think this way for a long time but I am getting there :D
