I made the mistake of stopping my math studies all together and now that I need to finally turn in these problems I can't get back on track. These two are examples of about 50 other questions, and I can't begin to understand where to start. o_O"
Please help and thank you!

~~~~~
Find the first five terms of a(1)=4, a(n+1)=a(n)+7
~~~~~

Find a(6) for the geometric sequence with a(1)=5, r=2

~~~~~
Find the first five terms of a(1)=4, a(n+1)=a(n)+7
a(1) = 4
a(2) = a(1+1) = a(1) + 7 = 4 + 7 = 11
a(3) = a(2+1) = a(2) + 7 = 11 + 7 = 18
Now continue....
~~~~~

Find a(6) for the geometric sequence with a(1)=5, r=2

For geometric series

a(n+1) = r * a(n)

a(1) = 5

a(2) = a(1+1) = r * a(1) = 2*5 = 10

Now continue...
