Hello,
I am currently writing a research paper where I analyse the transverse vibration of mono layer graphene.
To do this I must use partial differentials and plug them into a governing equation to find the frequency of the vibration at different modes. However i have been struggling to remove recurring values from one particular equation (see attached picture).
I've tried using double angle trig identities to remove them but have had no luck.
The highlighted parts are what i can already removed however the cos functions are messing everything up as the terms are being multiplied by 2Pi and go to 1 and turn the equation to infinite as everything becomes 0, if you get what I am trying to say.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
