Paul wanted to find out how many songs record company usually put on a compilation CD. He counted the songs on 12 different CDs and got this data set 8, 13, 14, 14, 15, 15, 19, 19, 19, 20, 20, 20 does this data set have any outliers? Explain what are the median the mean or the set of Data.

Explain what are the median the mean or the set of Data.

The "mean" is the usual "average", found by summing all the values and dividing by the number of values.

The "median" is the "middle" value. List the values in order, from least to greatest. Count in from the ends. The value in the middle is the median. (Or, if there are two in the middle, take the "mean" of those to find the "median" of the ordered list.)

The "set of data" is just the list of values.
