Im having trouble remembering how to find the domain.
The Problem is:

f(x)= 1/(x^2 - 2x - 2)

Thanks!

It is often easier to find what is NOT in the Domain. This particular problem requires only that you find where the denominator is zero.

x^2 - 2*x - 2 = 0??

Use the quadratic formula and the Domain is:

"All Real Numbers EXCEPT ..."

By the way, good call on using parentheses in the denominator. You would be surprised how often that is overlooked. :D
