Hi all,
I am having issues finding the derivative of this function, I have the answer but I do not get the reasoning behind it.
Any help is greatly appreciated
SquareRoot( 3 + tan(xy) ) = 2
I got the answer using my calculator, it gives me y'(x) = -y(x) / x
You understand you have to do this using implicit differentiation. It may be a lot easier if you square both sides and then solve for tan(xy). Then find the deriviative implicitly.
