Hello. I need help on this word/solving problem. The question wanted me to find an error. Here is what it's looks like.
Find the error “Setting u = 1/x and dv = dx, integration by parts gives
int (1/x)dx = x(1/x) - int x(-(1/x^2))dx = 1 + int (1/x)dx
so, subtracting the integral on both sides, 0 = 1”.
I was staring at the question for more than 20 mins and still no clue. Please help. Thanks.
