can someone help me out with this...

rotate y= e[sup:3paj966f]x^2[/sup:3paj966f] around the y-axis, enclosed by x=1, x=3[sup:3paj966f]1/2[/sup:3paj966f], y=0

I have gotten (so far), feel free to correct...

2pi ?[sub:3paj966f]1[/sub:3paj966f][sup:3paj966f]?3[/sup:3paj966f] (x) (e[sup:3paj966f]x^2[/sup:3paj966f]) dx

??? am i on the right track at all or can someone point me to it

thanks so much...

It looks OK, use the substitution \(\displaystyle u=x^2\) to evaluate the integral.
