Hello i need help setting up the combined distance formula to find a central point within a triangle. I'll try to keep the information general because i want to solve it myself, i just need help setting it up. I know the distances between the 3 points of the triangle(A,B, and C). I also know the coordinates to all 3 points and need to find a central point within the triangle that minimizes the total distance traveled if you travel 5 times from point A, 4 times from point B and 3 times from point C. Just want to know how to approach/ set up this combined distance formula so i can take the derivative to find the point at which my distance is a minimum.
