Hello. I'm having trouble with this problem:
how many vertical asymptotes exist for the function f(x)=(1)/(2 sin^2x-sin x-1) in the open interval0<x<2pi

Wasn't there a similar problem to this posted somewhere ...

Anyway, for what values of x is the denominator equal to 0? Should be a simple quadratic (if there are any solutions).

no there wasn't. I keep getting pi/1 but I can't check it without my calculator. Can you please help me with this. Thank you.
