This is my problem:

Find any values where the function is not defined:

. . .f(x) = (14 - x) / (x^2 - 4x + 4)

Factoring the denominator to check for zeroes:

. . .(x - 2)(x - 2)

. . .x - 2 = 0

. . .x = 2

The domain of f is {x|x is a real number and x=/2}
(-infinity, 2) U (2, infinity)

Is this correct? Or am I doing something wrong? :?
Am I doing the steps correctly?

For the function to be undefined, the denominator has to be zero.

You were correct in finding the zeros of the denominator... thus 2 is the value for which the rational is undefined.

Cheers,
John.
