Find the limit of lim ( ( 3/ (x^2 - x - 2) ) + ( 1/ (x+1) ) )
x->-1

SO far. I have

lim ( 3/(x+1)(X-2) + 1/(x+1) )
x->-1

but I don't know where to go from there.

Try combining the two fractions into one by finding the common denominator.
