Find the equation of the plane definded by the two vectors

Find the equation of the plane definded by the two vectors
A= -2i + 5j and B= i - 3j + k.

I know how to get an equation if a set of points are given but how do I find out when those points arent given. Every example in the textbook, a set of points is at least given. Thanks.

What is the relationship between the equation of a plane and equation of the normal to the plane?

If the problem is as you wrote above, then you are correct.
Those two vectors could determine infinitely many planes.
You must also be given a point on the plane.

There are no points listed. What can I go from here? Did the author of the book make a mistake?
