Find the derivative of the given function.

(2x^2 + 5x)2

I am getting 16x^3 + 30x2 + 50x is this right? I am confused and think I could be mixing something up...........

Close.

(2x^2 + 5x)^2 expands to 4x^4 + 20x^3 + 25x^2.

You've differentiated the first and last terms correctly, but the derivative of 20x^3 is 60x^2.
