Find the absolute max/min values of t - (t^(1/3)) on the interval [-1,4]

Well, since you've shown no work, I'm forced to assume you're stuck at the very beginning. A good first step is to follow the standard process of taking the first derivative and setting equal to zero. What happens when you do that?
