Find tha maximum velocity?

Hi, how can I find the maximum velocity of an object is the velocity function is givin?

just like you find the max of any function ...

set v'(t) = 0, solve for t to find critical values of t. using these critical values of t ...
max v will occur where v'(t) changes sign from (+) to (-), or
max v will occur where v"(t) < 0.
