I don't even know where to begin with this one.

The instructions say: Find a polynomial function with integral coefficients of lowest degree that has the given number as zeros. The zeros given are i, -i, 1.

The i's are throwing me off. If someone could start me out that would be great.

(I did the previous problem on the page with the same instructions. The zeros given were 1, 2, -3 and the answer I came up with was f(x)=x^3-7x+6. If that is the right answer then I kinda/sorta know what I'm doing. I just can't seem to get started with those i's)

Thank you in advance for anyone who posts.

\(\displaystyle \L\\(x-i)(x+i)(x-1)\)

Remember, \(\displaystyle i^{2}=-1\;\ i(-i)=1\)

You'll end up with a cubic.

The other problem you mentioned is OK.
