The following is the exercise I'm working on:

A circle has a radius of 8cm and its central angle O intercepts an arc of 10cm. Give the measure of angle O in degrees.

Here's what I did:

10/8 = 1,25

Then:

(1,25 x 180(degrees)) / pi = 72 (degrees)

Answer = 72 (degrees)

Could someone please tell me if my awnser is right? Thank you!

correct ...

(arc length)/(radius) = central angle measure in radians

radians * 180/pi = degrees
