Find integral cotx

I'm thinking this needs to be written as 1 / tanx and then rewrite it as cosx / sinx.

Not sure where to go from there.

Help?

Go with the cosine divided by the sine and consider the substitution u = sin(x).

good ... you got it to \(\displaystyle \L \cot{x} = \frac{\cos{x}}{\sin{x}}\)

what is the antiderivative of \(\displaystyle \L \frac{f'(x)}{f(x)}\) ... :?:
