Find all solutions to tan^2(3x - pi/4) = 1/3

Take the square root of each side. Solve the two resulting equations for "(3x - pi/4)=". Then solve for "x=".

Please reply showing how far you have gotten, starting with the roots and the basic angle values you used. Thank you.

tan(Pi/6)=1/sqrt(3), Hence [tan(Pi/6)]^2 = 1/3.

if [tan(3x-Pi/4)]^2 = 1/3, then 3x-Pi/4 = Pi/6.

Then x = (5*Pi)/36. Plugging back into the original equation, one arrives at Pi/6.

please help????

With what? Does "x = (5pi)/36 not work?

Please be specific. Thank you.
