Express all solutions in radian measure rounded off to 3 decimal places.
6tan^2 x = 5tan x + sec^2 x
So, obviously, I subtract 6tan^2 x and get 0 = -6tan^2 + 5 tan x + sec^2 x
I think I am supposed to factor this so I get two sets of paretheses and then set both equations in the parentheses equal to zero. After that I work out the equations and what-not. I
I can't factor it! I need to change sec^2 x but I don't know how! Just need help with the factoring/another method possibly?
Thanks!
