I am having problems with this problem... find all solutions for the equation 5sin [sup:206akrrj]2[/sup:206akrrj] x - 4 =0

Re: Find all solutions

Factor

\(\displaystyle (\sqrt{5}\sin(x)+2)(\sqrt{5}\sin(x)-2) = 0\)

Now what?

Re: Find all solutions

Ok so next I set each one equal to 0 seperately. My final answer is x=sin[sup:k8t8isgp]-1[/sup:k8t8isgp]+/- [2(square root of 5)]/5. is that correct? Also how do you do square roots in typeing?

Re: Find all solutions

I think you have it.

As far as the math notation, check out the "Forum Help" pull down at the top of the screen. The LaTeX sections are particularly beneficial.
