A linear programming feasible region is determined by
6x + 3y <= 72
5x + 15y <= 185
x^3 0, y=>0

Which of the following objective functions has its maximum value at the intersection of

6x + 3y = 72 and
5x + 15y = 185

My answer is z= 10x +10x is this right from a possible list of answers. Thanks for any help given.

a. z=10x+10y
b. z=5x+2y
c. z=2x+8y
d. z=21x+7y

-----------------

The two lines that are given intersect at x = 7 and y = 10. When you substitute these values into the 4 objective functions, the 21x+7y gives the largest result (217).
