There are a couple of simple formulas for factor the sum or difference of two cubes:

You should know that \(\displaystyle a^3\pm b^3=(a\pm b)(a^2\mp ab+b^2 \)

In the first one \(\displaystyle a=2x~\&~b=-3 \)

In the second \(\displaystyle a=4a~\&~b=5 \)
