alright so i'm working on this mechanics problem and this equation pops up:
(x^3) - 9(x^2) + 24x -30 = 0
I've sort of forgotten how to work these equations out. I tried factoring it but I doubt it using the (x-a) factor but I doubt it will work (I went up until a=7).
How am I supposed to solve this?
