The first step in factoring should be checking to see if there's a common factor in all of the terms, and if there IS one, removing it. Do you see that x is a factor of each term?
Use the distributive property to remove that common factor:
x (x[supxiixz6h]2[/supxiixz6h] + 2x - 35)
Now, look at the trinomial inside the parentheses...you can factor that into the product of two binomials.
