Removing the greatest common factor from all the terms is always a good first step in factoring an expression, so you have the right idea.
If you are suspicious about your answer, you can ALWAYS check a factorization by multiplying it out. I strongly suggest that you check your answer by multiplication. I believe you'll find you've made a small error.
