How would I factor out 6x(3x+1)^3 - (3x+1)^4

I kind of know (3x+1) would be one of them. Could someone please show how I could go about solving this.

Thanks.

Suppose you wanted to factor 6xy[sup:32cksnc5]3[/sup:32cksnc5] - y[sup:32cksnc5]4[/sup:32cksnc5]. Do you see that the first factorization would be...

y[sup:32cksnc5]3[/sup:32cksnc5](6x - y)?

If you see that, then notice that y has replaced 3x+1 in the original expression. Hope you can take it from there.

What would be the next factorization ?
