Working out the problem in full for the student defeats the purpose of 1) the student attempting

the solution, and it is inconsistent with my prior message of posting it under a separate thread, especially

considering that there is agreement with me on posting it on a different thread.

Thank you very much! I understand this process much better now! I'm going to get back to the practice tests and try some more on my own.
