ok i am in need of some big help!!! i need to know the steps on how to answer these typ of questions please helps asap!!

10x[squared]+6x-25

the answer is
2(5x-7)(x+2)

i need to know the steps on how to get the answer!! please help i have a test soon!! thank you soo much

10x^2 + 6x -25
but I think you have a typo and it is
10x^2 + 6x -28
You have all even numbers so factor out 2
2(5x^2 + 3x -14)
The form of the factors is
2(5x+a)(x+b) where a*b=-14
There are only four possibilities for a & b
-1*14, 1*-14, -2*7, and 2*-7
The next step is a + 5b = 3
You try each of them and find that a=-7 and b=2 works
-7+5*2=3
2(5x-7)(x+2)
