e^2x+2+e^-2x=(__)(__)

1-sin^2x=(___)(___)-----> this would be (cosX)(cosX) correct?

x/2-6x^2= x/2(_____) it would start out as being x/2(1-___) i just don't know how to get x/2 out of 6x^2

e^2x+2+e^-2x=(__)(__) <<< substitute e^x = u

1-sin^2x=(___)(___)-----> this would be (cosX)(cosX) correct? <<< Correct. Another way would be to use a^2 - b^2 = (a+b)(a-b)

x/2-6x^2= x/2(_____) it would start out as being x/2(1-___) i just don't know how to get x/2 out of 6x^2

let

x/2 = u

x = 2u

then

6x^2 = (6) (2u)^2 = 24u^2 = 24 (x/2)^2

Now factorize
