Can you please explain how to get the answer to the following problem:

Factor: 4x^2 - 25y^2

I thought this problem was unfactorable, but was wrong.

Any expression of the form x^2 - y^2 can be immediately factored into (x + y)(x - y)

Therefore, you have (2x + 5y)(2x - 5y).
