factoring 2x^2 - xy + 4x - 2y by grouping

2x^2-xy+4x-2y Factor completely using the grouping method.
(2x^2-xy)+(4x-2y)
x(2x-y)+2(2x-y)
(2x-4)(x+2)
Not sure if this is correct

I don't even know what the original problem was or what you're doing either. It looks all wrong, though. Where on earth did the "y" come from? :shock:
