Electric power for a community on one bank of a straight river 200m wide must come from a power station on the opposite bank of the river 500m down stream. if it costs twic as much tolay cable underwater than on land, what path should be chosen to minimize the cost?

I would greatly appreciate any hints or suggestion in helping me solve this question.

They go along the bank X meters then along the hypotenuse of a triangle to the station. One leg of the triangle is (50-X)m. The other is 200m.The cost to minimize is 2 times the hypot + X.
