divide both sides by 2[sup:1dxatb0d]t[/sup:1dxatb0d], and divide both sides by 128.

2187 is a power of 3.....

128 is a power of 2.....

Write 2187 as a power of 3, and 128 as a power of 2. Look CAREFULLY at the equation you get, and I think the solution will be obvious.
