Hi, I am having trouble with this question

\(\displaystyle \L\\7^{3x}\)=\(\displaystyle \L\\8^{2x}\)
..
\(\displaystyle \L\\log7^{3x}\)=\(\displaystyle \L\\log8^{2x}\)
..
\(\displaystyle \L\\3xlog7\)=\(\displaystyle \L\\2xlog8\)

now what should I do? :p

Thanks

Now you have a simple linear equation in x. Solve.

. . . . .3 x log(7) = 2 x log(8)

. . . . .3 x log(7) - 2 x log(8) = 0

. . . . .x [3 log(7) - 2 log(8)] = 0

What then is "x"?

Eliz.
