When x is a large number, which equation that rises the fastest?

A. 2-^x=y
B. (0.5)^x=y
C. 2^x=y
D. 2x=y

I feel the answer either could be C or D but feel the answer is C because as it gets multiplied higher it would go faster than D...is that right?

Thanks!!!!!

I will assume that (A) is "y = 2-x", otherwise known as "y = 1/2x = (1/2)x", so (A) and (B) are actually the same thing.

If you're not sure which graph rises fastest, try graphing, keeping in mind what they taught you about the fundamental nature of "exponential growth".
