How do u find excluded region?
when my prof, taugh us by using graph, it looked not that hard, but i'm still not sure.

plz show me the steps. ( if u can use graph, i'll be sooooooooo happy)

Thnx brilliant guys!

You know the old saying... expect to wait hours if not days for a response. There is no paid staff to help you. The tutors live very busy lives and stop by when they can.

yeah, I know dude..
u sound smart, can u help me to slove that problem?

thnx

What is meant by an "excluded region"? (The exact definition from your text would be helpful.)

Thank you.

Thank you.

we find excluded region to determine the domain which it'll help us to make a graph without calculator. maybe u guys use different term, but still the same meaning.

actually i got it now (after thinking for a hour ^-^)

thnx n sorry if my question is not that useful for everyone.

So "region" could mean "set of points" or "interval", not, as is the customary definition of the term, an "open connected set"...? So you're really just finding the vertical asymptotes, finding the spots where the rational function is not defined?

If that is the case, then set the denominator equal to zero, and solve for the "region".
