Evaluating Integral

I've tried evaluating with u-substitution and without. I've solved ones that look way more difficult, but I can't seem to do this one, which looks quite simple. :\ Please help!

*= integral sign. i'm not familiar with TeX.

1 ( x/8 + 1/2x) dx

hmm.. which bit are you stuck on?

If it's the integration:

\(\displaystyle \L \mbox{ \int{\frac{x}{8} dx} = \int{\frac{1}{8}x dx} = \frac{1}{16}x^2 + C}\)

\(\displaystyle \L \mbox{ \int{\frac{1}{2x} dx} = \frac{1}{2} \int{\frac{1}{x} dx} = \frac{1}{2} \ln{|x|} + C}\)
