given the formula P=2l+2w, find the width w of a rectangle when its perimeter p is 17.6 units and its length l is 3.3 units.
I need all work please and the answer.

would be better to show what you have done so far......

P=2l+2w

in this formula place P =17.6 and l=3.3

17.6 = 2(3.3) +2w

now multiply the 2(3.3) and then move it to the left side(becomes negative)
With this new value divide it by 2 to get the "w" by itself.

to continue....

17.6 = 2(3.3) +2w

17.6 = 6.6 + 2w

17.6-6.6 = 2w

11 = 2w

11/2 = w

over to you

After your poll and now this, what's the point? Unless you go through a serious attitude adjustment, you will not gain any value, anywhere, froim your queries.

You show us your work.
You show a desire to learn.
You get to work and figure it out and you will feel better about it.
