Hi i need some help solving some equations it would mean a lot if u could help!
how would u solve this
7x + 2 = 2y
- --
9 3

7x + 2 = 2y

is this the equation you are solving ?

What are the 2 numbers for?

Do you mean:

\(\displaystyle \frac{7x}{9}+\frac{2}{3}=2y\)

I'm picking

\(\displaystyle \frac{7x}{9} + 2 = \frac{2y}{3}\)

In any case there's not much you can do with it. Are you to make x or y the subject?

7x + 2 = 2y
- --
9 3

NO; it's 7x + 2/9 = 2y/3
notice the - --; 1st one under the 2, so other 2 under the 2y

And we still don't know what the instructions are.

Eliz.

Not quite. Use the "quote" feature.
Curses!
Kitty played a fast one on me:
why one - under 7x but two -'s under 2y ? Highly devious
