Detemine whether each of the following points is a solution of the equations 3x+5y=10;(0,2) (2,3)

3x+5y=10 wouldn't it be y=mx+b

to verify if they are points for the given equation, you must plug in x and y from each point into the equation, and see if you get a correct mathematical statement.

What you do to one side of the equation you must do to the other, therefore it is not nessesary to put it into y=mx+b form. simply plug in the x and y values and see if both sides of the equal are equal.
