solve for x

1) 1/x+1/x+2=1/3

2) 1/x+1/x+3=1/4

using factoring, square root method, completing square or quadratic method however it is the easiest

It is a whole lot easier to help you if we can read the problem.
Please use grouping symbols.
Is it \(\displaystyle \frac{1}{x} + \frac{1}{x} + 2 = \frac{1}{3}\) or is it \(\displaystyle \frac{1}{x} + \frac{1}{{x + 2}} = \frac{1}{3}?\)

I generally never answer a post sent to me by PMs.
But iIn this case, you need to learn how to post mathematics on the web.
Go to the top of this web page. There is a ‘TAB’ called “ Forum Help”.
Pull it down. Got to Karl’s notes. Learn the basic ways to post mathematics.
The best way is to learn LaTeX.
