is it right that the equation

\(\displaystyle x^n + y^n = z^n\) is unsolvable for n>2 ?
 
If \(\displaystyle x,y,z\) are integers, this is Fermat's Last Theorem.
 
Has anyone ever perused Wiles' prrof of FLT?. There's probably only a handful of people which can follow it. It looks like ancient cuneiform.

Never saw the proof myself, but I heard the first draft was 100s of pages long.
