Find the equation of the tangent line to y = x^2 -4x + 6 at the point (7,27).
my work
Dx(x^2 -4x + 6) = 2x-4
At x = 7
Mtan = 2(7) - 4 = 10
then i used y - y1 = m(x - x1)
y - 27 = 10(x - 7)
y = 10x - 43
So the the equation of the tangent line to y = x^2 -4x + 6 at the point (7,27) is y = 10x - 43
