my practice problem was- find the equation of a parabola with its vertex at the point of origin and the focal point F (0,2)
I got y(to the second power)= 4x
I was wondering what others got for the problem

How? What formula(s) did you use? What were your steps and reasoning? How does the graph of x = y²/4 (which opens to the right, of course) compare with the graph of a parabola with vertex (0, 0) and focus F = (0, 2) (which opens upward)?
