ok how do i solve this :?:

write an equation of the line perpendicular to 3y - 9x = 15
that has a y-intercet of (0.-2)

One method of solution would be to solve the given equation for "y=". This puts the equation into "y = mx + b" form, so you can read off the slope.

Once you have the slope of the given line, you can figure out the perpendicular slope, since that's just the negative reciprocal.

Since you've been given the y-intercept's value for "b", you can now plug "m" and "b" into the slope-intercept form, and there's your answer. :D
