I have to find the inverse of y=x^3+1.
My work is as follows:
y^3+1=x
y^3=x-1
Now from here I am not quite sure if I did my work right, what would be my next step? a, b or c?
(a)y=cbrt(x-1)
(b)y=cbrt x and cbrt -1
(c)y=(cbrtx) -1
Thx. for any help or advice. Just so you know this is part of a problem for graphing a function and its inverse.
