What is the equation of a horizontal line that passes through the point at (-2, -2)?

i did
s = y2/x2 - y1/x1
and got
1.5
and my answer came out to be wrong HELP

the equation of the horizontal line that passes through (a,b) is

y = b

think about why it's that easy ... :shock:

What is the above meant to compute...? What is "s"? This isn't even the "slope" formula. I can't guess what you're trying to do here....

Please reply with clarification, including your reasoning. Specifically, please state how you are using the fact that the line is horizontal.

Thank you.

Eliz.
